Rob Catchlove

Rob is the Director of Wave Consulting Australia and has an 18-year history of working on water projects, from local to international projects across all levels of government and for private enterprises. Over that period, Rob has been able to connect with and gather experience from a wide range of professionals in the social sciences, marketing, engineering, landscape architecture, governance / law, leadership, and environmental disciplines.  

Ralf Pfleiderer

Ralf is a well-respected leader in stormwater across Australia, with over 20 years’ experience in the industry, most recently with City of Melbourne. Ralf is an Environmental Engineer, with experience in both private and public enterprise. In all his work, he has applied his engineering skills within a landscape, green infrastructure, and open space context. Ralf has been involved in delivering all stages of WSUD assets from policy to design, undertaking or managing the construction and maintenance to monitoring and auditing a range of large and small WSUD assets for local governments, Melbourne Water and developers. Ralf has managed maintenance teams and helped physically create over a hundred wetlands across Melbourne and regional Victoria. He has a background in working in the landscape and horticulture industries, and lives on a working farm, so have a high level of understanding of soil and plant issues.

Derek Maguire

Derek Maguire has been involved in sustainable development for twenty years,beginning his apprenticeship in the construction and development of the Westwyck Ecovillage. He has been involved in constructing, managing and maintaining the Water Sensitive Urban Design features of Westwyck, namely the stormwater filtration reed beds, but also the rainwater tank system, greywater, blackwater, car park runoff and reuse for fruit trees.  He continues to specialize in sustainable as well as heritage sensitive construction. Derek is a registered builder and director of Brunswick Builders Pty Ltd.
